YOUTH PARLIAMENT AT CHAMPA CLUB , BGR TOWNSHIP. ORGANISER: IOCL BGR DATE: JUNE 04,2025
Students of DPS Dhaligaon took the forefront in the said debate sessions.
WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
A special initiative –GREEN CONNECT was taken up by IOCL in association with NDTV 24X7 on June 02,2025, a programme for young voices for a greener tomorrow. It was an online as well as offline programme with about 60 schools across the country, joining the event in an interaction with the Chairman of Indian Oil , Shri A.S.Sahni . A group of our students from classes-IX to XII joined the online programme. All in all, it was an invigorating e experience for the students . At school, the following activities were arranged to spread the awareness of building a cleaner & greener planet.

ï¶ Participation in Quiz Competition organised by IOCL BGR
ï¶ Pour your heart-Beat Plastic Pollution
ï¶ Painting prepared for Chairman, IOCL

ï¶ Awareness spread among parents & pedestrians by means of interactions & supportive posters & banners
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA-ONE EARTH ONE HEALTH
On this special occasion on June 05,2025 , the school initiated various activities like-

FELICITATION OF MERITORIOUS STUDENTS
In an initiative to congratulate and encourage the meritorious students of AISSE & AISSCE, 2025, IOCL BGR felicitated students scoring 70% and above with certificates, smart watches & gift hampers. All the teachers, Headmaster & Principal were also felicitated with traditional gamochas & gifts followed by luncheon arranged by IOCL BGR. Shri Nayan Kumar Barua, Executive Director & Refinery Head, IOCL BGR & Pro- Vice Chairmain,BOM of the school along with some more dignitaries of IOCL BGR presented the awards & mementos to the students & teachers.
We ,at DPS Dhaligaon are immensely grateful to IOCL BGR authorities for such a benign gesture .

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2025
The Investiture Ceremony of the newly formed Student Council 2025 of three levels, viz. Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior was organised on 14/06/25 at the school auditorium, Rangmanch. Shri Nayan Kumar Baruah graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and bestowed the sashes & badges upon the members of the Council & blessed them. Then, the formal Oath taking ceremony took place. It was a proud moment for all the parents whose wards shone on the stage as the members of the Student Council.

PRINCIPAL'S INTERACTION WITH PTA MEMBERS
On June 04, 2025, the Principal had his exclusive interaction with the PTA members at 5:30 P.M. at the school premises.
VISIT OF SOME PTA MEMBERS AT SCHOOL
The Parents' Representatives Group made its visit to school( first quarter) on June 12 and thereafter, the Principal discussed with the members regarding some welfare measures for the school.
NCC COMBINED ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP
A total of 8 cadets from the school joined the NCC CATC 2025 at JNV Kokrajhar from May 25 - June 06, 2025. The cadets were provided with basic military trainings like drill, weapon handling,self defence & discipline. Mr. Judhisthir Das was the Care Taker Officer of the troop.
RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMME
Ms. Ruma Dey (PGT Bio) attended a residential programme for teachers teaching Biology in classes-XI & XII from June 18-20,2025 at HRD Centre, organised by the Delhi Public School Society..
