In Bharat Ko Jano Quiz competition(Assam Prant level) held on Nov.02,2025 at Bongaigaon College , our team comprising of Mst. Rajbit Choubey(X) and Mst.Abhiraj Chauhan(IX) participated & finished at the 3rd spot.

The young entrepreneurs of class-XI Commerce steam enthusiastically showcased talents by putting up stalls of eateries , stationeries , costume jewelleries & fancy items. With teachers and students participating as customers, the dynamic enterprisers gained first hand experience in sales & customer interaction ,making the event both fun and educational.

The day unveiled with floral tribute to the legend in his remembrance followed by a stoic prayer , thought ,speech and recitation by students , befitting the occasion. The programme at school ended with the rendition of Dr. Hazarika’s eternal composition- Manuhe Manuhar Baabe….. in unison by all the students, teacher s& staff present on the occasion. Later, the students & teachers joined the progamme at IOCL Sports Complex, BGR Township, organised by the District authority, Kajalgaon, Chirang.

Our National Song –Vande Mataram completes 150 years of composition by Shri Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay and as a part of commemoration of the same, there was mass singing of the song at school followed by a speech by the Principal highlighting the greatness and values of the song that has kept instilling a patriotic fervor in us since the last 150 years.

On the special occasion of the birth anniversary of our cultural luminary , Zubeen Garg, a floral tribute was offered by the Principal, Headmaster and the teachers followed by a speech and a graceful dance performance set to the soulful strains of Mayabini.

The CISF Unit, Dhaligaon conducted activities like Quiz, Essay & Poetry writing competitions for students on the auspicious occasion of completion of composition of VANDE MATARAM. The winners of the competition were presented with prizes on Nov.17,2025 during the morning assembly by Sr. Commandant, Arvind Kumar Singh.

Classes-X & XII embarked on a school trip to Manas National Park and Buxa Tiger Reserve respectively on Nov.08,2025 enriching their learning beyond classroom. The students of class-IX & XI went on a one day trip to Manas National Park & Buxa Tiger Reserve respectively on Nov.29, 2025. Learning by discovering Nature & wildlife was the key take away from the trips.

On the occasion of Children’s Day(Nov.14) , the students , teachers & parents of the school put up stalls of eateries at the school ground. All the items of 40 stalls sold like hot cakes and the collection from the stalls will be shortly donated in benevolence for the needy & destitute children. This is indeed a learning by doing for students and most importantly the message of social work that the event carries is profound.

The day broke with an assembly presentation by teachers. Thereafter, a cultural show was showcased by students ranging from classes-II to XI, captivating all the spectators. However, the centre of attraction of the day’s programme was the food festival meant for charity. Students, teachers as well as parents actively participated in the same. A panel of judges assessed the event in various categories. Another eye catching event that was inaugurated on the special day was the Book Fair which continued from Nov.14-17,2025 at the school auditorium-Rangmanch.

The school hosted a Capacity Building Programme on  Promoting Mental Health & Wellness among Students on  Nov.15,2025 for all the teachers of the school at the Senior Computer Laboratory. It was organised by CoE,CBSE,Guwahati Region. The resource person of the programme was Mr. Bijit Nath, Principal , Gurukul National School, Basugaon. All in all, the programme was quite purposeful. pics

Eight (8) of our students took part in RYLA (Nov.14-16,2025) organised by Rotary Club,Bongaigaon. It was an ih-house event held at Terapanth Bhawan, Bongaigaon. The three day event included various activities in which our students participated in healthy competitive spirit and earned laurels for the school. It was an incredibly motivating experience,learning apt leadership skills Mst.Soumyodeep Sanyal (XI) was adjourned as the best overall participant while Miss Adwita Singh (VIII) was declared 3rd best overall participant. Our heartiest congratulations to all the participants and prize winners.

The school observed the Constitution Day on Nov. 26, 2025 with great enthusiasm and reverence. Students from classes-III to XI participated in various informative activities that highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution. The school also organised a Guest Speaker’s Programme in which the Hon’ble Chief Judicial Magistrate of District & Session court, Chirang, Assam , Shri Chandranshu Chaturvedi conducted an interactive session with senior students focusing on the Preamble to the Constitution of India and making them aware of the rights & duties of every Indian citizen. It was an insightful session.The entire programme was coordinated by Class-XI ( Humanities).

Various activities are being run by the school for classes-III to X and at the end of the session a presentation and exhibition is held focusing on the learning of the students. This year it was organised on Nov. 19 & 21,2025 at the school auditorium wherein students of classes-I to VIII paticipated. The same was open for viewing of parents, as well.

The toddlers of Bal Vatika thoroughly enjoyed taking part in various events of the Annual Sports ,2025 .

The toddlers of Bal Vatika explored the concepts of colours of Yellow and Purple on Nov.21 & 26,2025 by being dressed, bringing tiffin and play items – all in the said colours. What a colourful world !
