EVENT: CBSE FAR EAST ZONE ATHLETIC MEET-2025-26 DATE: Aug.01-03,2025.

Apart from a flamboyant celebration, the Principal gave away merit certificates to all scorers of 90% and above in AISSE & AISSCE, 2025 & mementos to all the prize winning athletes , swimmer, Girls volleyball team(U-19) , Rajya Puraskar entitled recipients . All in all, along with the colours of freedom of Saffron, White & Green, the day shone with laurels & accolades .

On Aug.08,2025,the students of class-XII visited NTPC plant at Salakati and got exposure to power generated operations, industry safety and career options in energy sector. This visit has been immensely beneficial to our students.

On Aug.09,2025, a Guest Speaker’s Programme was organized by the school for classes-X , XI & XII(Science). The Resource Person was Dr.Sandeep Srivastava ,Dean & HOD of Physics Deptt,CIT Kokrajhar. The main topics covered were (i) AI and machine learning & (ii) Data Science(iii) Cyber Security & (iv) Robotics & automation.

Dr. Santanu Konwar, Assistant Professor, Abhayapuri College enlightened students of classes-XII(Science stream) on moving coil galvanometer. It was highly beneficial ,enhancing conceptual clarity & problem solving skills of students.

Our school volleyball team(Girls U-19) secured 3rd place, winning a bronze medal in CBSE Cluster-I Volleyball Tournament-2025, hosted by DPS Nazira from Aug.21-25,2025. Kudos to the team!

The essence of Raksha Bandhan was felt at different levels. The tiny Tots of Bal Vatika celebrated with lot of zeal & enthusiasm while students of classes-V to VII had a wonderful time tying rakhi to Principal Sir & having fun and frolic on the day. Senior students wished parents & guardians at the school gate. Thereafter they celebrated Raksha Bandhan at the CISF Camp, tying rakhi to the wrists of the jawans and officers and offering them sweets. Our students also received gifts and were treated with sumptuous eateries.

The school organized a Health Awareness Camp on Aug.30,2025 wherein three of our Alumni Doctors Dr. Aminul Hoque, Dr. Zia Ul Haque Ahmed & Dr. Biswajit Singha along with the school counselor , Ms. Liza Narzari conducted sessions on general health focusing on dental, skin & mental health. The sessions were meant for students of all levels and many parents also joined the awareness sessions and found the same quite informative and essential.

The Bharat Vikash Parishad conducted BHARAT KO JANO quiz on Aug.31,2025 , wherein, two of our students, viz. Mst. Rajbir Choubey(X) & Mst. Abhiraj Singh Chauhan (IX) won the 1st prize & certificates in the Senior Category. They have qualified for the 2nd level of quiz competition. Well done!

Mr. Shoubhik Roy Choudhury, alumnus of DPS Dhaligaon received the coveted award-DIGITAL MEDIA PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR: 2025-NORTHEAST INDIA at the 7th TIA Awards 2025 , an honour initiated by Indian Awaz Foundation for his creativity & authentic voice, impacting across the region. Many congratulations! Indeed, it’s a proud moment for all of us at DPS Dhaligaon.

The observance of National Sports Day , started on Aug.29 and ended on Aug.30,2025. After the ceremonial pledge taking, students performed relay race and parents participated in Tug of War.
