International Women’s day was celebrated at the school’s auditorium, Rangmanch with great enthusiasm and respect on March 08,2026 . It was a bouquet of offerings from the gents teachers to the lady teachers & lady staff members of the school. The programme included performances like recitation, song presentations and deliverance by the Hon’ble Principal, Dr.R.K.Mishra- upholding the dignity and strength of women. The celebration concluded with fun games for women and the winners were presented with gifts. All in all, the programme was enjoyable and cherishable.

The collections from the charitable Food Festival- FLAVOURS OF CHARITY were used to purchase materials like school bags, water bottles and other necessary accessories for the needy and underprivileged children of remote areas of Koroibari, under Santipur Police Station of Chirang District. In this effort, we were supported by ANT, Chirang, a social welfare organization. These donations were made as a part of social service in which children along with a group of teachers were involved. This way, our students experienced learning by doing as a part of real education and also realized that the greatest pleasure lies in making others happy.

The results of the final assessments / Second Terminal / Annual Examinations (2025-26) were declared as scheduled by March 28, 2026. Subsequently, the school organized an introductory session for parents on March 31, 2026, to familiarise them with the respective class teachers and provide an overview of the school’s system and functioning.

Following the entrance test held on March 22, 2026, admissions to Class-XI took place on merit basis provisionally in the Science, Commerce and Humanities Streams. The admission process for classes Bal Vatika –I to class-IX have been successfully completed (against vacancies, on entrance test cum merit basis) If any further vacancies arise, the same will be notified through the official website of the school- www.dpsdhaligaon.com .

March 31,2026: The school organized a farewell ceremony on the superannuation of two of our staff members, Mr. Dasarath Das, teacher of Music and Mr. Tiken Ch.Singha, messenger of the school . In their honour, a cultural bouquet of programmes was offered by the teachers . Citaton & gifts were presented to them , in praise of them. In conclusion, the Principal , Dr. R.K.Mishra , in his address, appreciated the commitment and sincerity of the outgoing members of the school. Mr.D.Das also expressed his gratitude to the Principal for his support and encouragement. The farewell served as a beautiful reminder of the strong bonds shared within the DPS Dhaligaon family.
