On World Mental Health Day(Oct.10), the school organized highly engaging interactive group sessions for classes VI to XII led by the distinguished speaker, Mrs. Keerthi Krishnan Naidu, a certified Life Coach and Gold Medalist in Psychology. The sessions turned out to be immensely beneficial for students.

In PEFI STATE ATHLETICS, 2025, held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi from Oct.29-31, 2025, Mst.Madhurjya Choudhury(IX) secured 3rd position in 100 mtr. race. PEFI(Physical Education Foundation of India is recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. Indeed, we are proud of Madhurjya. Kudos to him !

Miss Koushani Choudhury(V) secured 3rd position in the Global Cultural Competition organized by the Renaissance Artists & Writer’s Association. She received the Certificate of Tri Ratna for her proficiency in Art on Prabhata Samgita during the 43rd Anniversary Celebration of Prabhata Samgita held on 21 Sept. 2025 in Kolkata. Congrats to Koushani !

IDP Education Guwahati conducted a session for students of classes IX to XII for pursuing higher education overseas. The session also covered essential details like getting scholarship, student loans ,preparing for VISA interviews & getting to know the importance of IELTS exam. All in all, the session was quite fruitful.

A team of six students viz. Miss Anushka Jain (XI), Mst.Ashwin Sureka(XI), Mst. Bitopan Debnath(XI),Mst.Ishaan Tuwani(XI), Mst. Aditya Bhari(XII) & Mst. Aditya Agarwal(XII) participated in the CBSE Regional Skill Expo & Guidance Festival on Oct.11,2025 at Miles Bronson School, Guwahati.They were accompanied by Ms.Anurupa D.Choudhary(TGT Science)

Miss Tanisha Chatterjee(X) secured the State level 2nd prize in a nationwide competition as a part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. It was organised  by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. Of India. It was executed by its official digital platform, staysafeonline.in, focusing on spreading online safety among Indian youth.

As an initiative of IOCL BGR, the Integrity Club of the school observed Vigilance Awareness Week with the objective of fostering a culture of integrity, transparency and accountability. The observance commenced with the Integrity Pledge , being led by Sri N.K.Barua, Executive Director & Refinery Head, IOCL BGR & Pro-Vice Chairman of the school , Dr. R.K.Mishra, the Principal & Miss Hrishita H. Sarma(XII), the Head Girl in English, Hindi & Assamese respectively. A series of activities, including speech competition, leaflet distribution among parents, a street play  & cycle rally on the theme of vigilance and honesty were conducted to inspire students to be responsible, alert and ethical, contributing towards the making of healthy and peaceful society.

A Capacity Building Programme(CBP) on Learning Pedagogy was attended by Ms.Anurupa Das Choudhury(TGT Science) and Mr.Bhupen Barman(PRT Maths) on Oct.25,2025 at Gurukul National School, Basugaon.The programme was organised under the aegis of the CBSE, CoE, Guwahai Region to enhance the teaching –learning process and promote innovative classroom practices.
